Everybody's Gone Surfing- Surfing USA!

Every summer Tuacahn has a few oldies concerts (i mean we are in the retirement center of the state of Utah!) Matt and I have already seen Peter Cetera and he was awesome, so we thought that it would be fun to take the whole family to the Beach Boys, boy were we wrong! We informed Devin that he needed to ask for this past Thursday off and wow, the ensueing whinning was way too reminesent of Kyler and Mckenna's whinning hours before! You would've think that we were having them face a firing squad!

The funny thing is that today, the boys have been singing with out thinking I have noticed; Wouldn't it be nice.... Kenna was singing; And we'll have fun, fun fun....

So i guess that Matt and I did our job of educating the kids on music from way back when (sorry, dad, not my words, but theirs!)

Mike Love and ? the other alive original Beach Boy sang, but the younger guys (one was a grandson to Mike Love,) sang more of their parts than they did. It is sad to see them getting older, but they were funny, sang really well when they sang main parts to their songs, (mostely they did the background singing,) and looked really good for their age. Q: HOW OLD ARE THEY DAD?

The younger guys had awesome voices especially the keyboardist- he had a lot of energy which made the show more fun, and his voice was so good that I thought that he should have his own band instead of being backup to the Beach Boys!
