Tonight Matt and I went to see the Phantom of the Opera movie for the 2nd time in 2 days. My friend Andrea and I were going to go since she wanted to go see it and I had had a horrible headache the night before half way through the movie, so I thought it would be fun to see it again and enjoy it this time. When Matt heard we were going he decided he wanted to see it again too!
The music is incredible and the movie was awesome! Matt loves the Broadway soundtrack and was just as entranced with this version. But he will always love Sarah Brightman singing Christine's part. She really has such a velvety sureal voice that could make anyone love the music. It's sort of like the effect that The Phantom has on Christine- transfixing and making her loose all thought except for the Music of the Night.
This movie is definetly a buyer! I have heard that the critics were saying that it was aweful, but it isn't. If you haven't seen it go!
